I have only seen 2 RB’s sold in recent times one is Darwin for $25k and the other in Banora Point in Queensland he was asking $30k but don’t know what it actually sold for.
I know of at least 5 RB’s that I know the owners. I have just finished my RC and now looking for an RD to complete the team.
Just sold my CB750 K2 for $11k to fund the search for the RD.

The RB1 had all the mounts for the fairing and as I mentioned it was an option along with the race spares kit. And yes it is documented that there was actually 1050 RB’s manufactured and sold. Yes the initial quota was 100 units for NZ & OZ.
Yes and the last bike Peter Molloy modified was an actual customer bike because I met him at VJMC rally. And Peter is working with a friend on his race bike currently and I see him quiet regularly.

This crazy money some people have to much and want to much, the RC that sold for 30K was like it came out of the grate with only 14k on it, this bike sounds good and if you look at his other items e is a buyer reseller of many different makes.

There was 150 RB1’s built and the 1st 100 came into Australia for the 1980 Castrol 6 hour race to meet entry levels for the race some sold to normal buyers but a lot sold to various race teams in OZ & New Zealand. There was another 900 built for the world to choose from complete with the fairing. But even the RB1’s you had the option to take the fairing or not and they came with a complete race spares kit. My frame number is 63 for my RB1 from a standard buyer and not raced. There was 1000 each of the RC & RD built.

Yes mate is original but was stored in an open type carport for 2 years and is just really dirty, and the engine covers need a bit of work and he had tried to polish the black motor part etc and made a real mess but not much work really mainly cosmetic, has a scrap on tail & RH front fairing from a very slow off I would say. But it is going to my painter mate for touch up. Ebay photos I posted make it look a real pride & joy how photo’s hide the truth
Wim the pegs will make it look a lot better because when I sent the set over they were from this bike so should look good.
