Hi guys
After having a full paint job done on my RD, I thought I may as well go the whole hog and apply the warning decals on top of the tank.
The general warning decal 87560181760ZA is available on ebay but aren’t the best quality!
The front fork air pressure decal 87517MA3850 is not available anywhere in the world it seems!I have generated the artwork from the original decals on my RD tank so they are 100% correct. They are printed on a white background as per the original Honda decals, and NOT transparent like the cheap ones from ebay etc.
I am having some made soon, but I want to share the chance with other club members. I would imagine they’ll be around £5 each at a guess, and if they’re less then I’ll certainly share the savings with you all. Postage in the UK will be just £1. Europe (EU) will be £2.75. Further afield (USA, Australia etc) will be £4.
So if you would like some then please let me know which ones you want and how many, by the end of this week. I can guarantee they are of the best quality you’ll find!
Best regards, Will.

PhilHMemberlooks like thats a common problem, I had a fault with my oil light circuit due to loom being pinched by starter cover
PhilHMemberI have downloaded, and all good
Thanks for taking the time to share
All the best Phil
PhilHMemberthat would be a great idea, as mine is in German, and I can only look at the pictures
PhilHMemberThanks Sarah, I’ve seen a few with that number

The RB uses the standard headlight as fitted to just about every Honda at the time.
I’ve compared the part numbers and the RB headlight part number is the same as many other models (33120-371-601) including the CX500 of the time. The totally original UK supplied CX I have in the garage has the number on the bottom of the lense. STANLEY 001-1815, a big H4 in the centre of the lense and an arrow pointing to the right as you look at it.PhilHMemberThanks to Vince, found the fault. PO had refitted the starter motor (after trying to resolve the starting fault) and trapped the switch wire
Took it out for a spin over the weekend, I can see why the bikes have such a following, feels really nimble, the front end is very responsive
I have a set of Continental tyres to fit, it has BT45’s on it now, but they’re a bit old. Look forward to getting back out on it soon
PhilHMemberVince, thats useful thanks. PO removed the starter motor to have it tested, guess that could have done it, as I had a video of the bike running prior to him checking the starter, and the light was out
PhilHMemberTrev, very concise – thanks for sharing
PhilHMembercheers Glenn, seen the FB link too
PhilHMemberthats a surprise that the RB did not have bobbins, given its intended purpose ?
PhilHMemberyes Will, found an RB in Germany, only two owners from new.
I bought it as a non-runner, I think (TBC) it has the loose sprag clutch fault. When I get one of my other bikes off the lift, I’ll investigate
In the meantime, here she is…
PhilHMembercheers Glenn, there are no witness marks, so guess never fitted
I’d like to store the bike on a stand, any links to repro bobbins, and possibly a stand ?
PhilHMemberSteve,
thats useful thank you. How close were engine and frame serial numbers, is there an average ?

Phil. My friend never went through with the purchase in the end.
He already has an RD in better condition than that one available anyway, and as he’s stuffed for space at home (he has 60+ bikes already I think) he decided to leave it.Cheers Will, catch up in the New Year
