Wanted section.

Hi,

I was looking through the site and I note that there isn’t a wanted section. Personally I think it would be very useful to be able to let people know what part you need. I am sure there are many bikes out there with bits missing , as I am also sure there are people in here who have the desired part/spares. It would be good to put the two together and help these owners get their bikes completed.

As a question , does the club have a spare parts collator/store ? Maybe one of those should be started too.

Thanks for the suggestion. Good to have ideas put forward.

I too think a “WANTED” listing page of some sort would be a useful addition as you suggest

Also a spare parts store might work but from my experience most members tend to keep
their collections of parts close to their chest until they really decide they need to have a clear out
of things- so the WANTED list would probably work better.

I will be looking into these additions.

Looking at how best to implement it Glenn. A basic thread would be a bit cumbersome to manage once there’s a few things up there.
