October 30, 2012 at 1:29 pm #11103Nat_PMemberHi,
Thats just a stupid price.
I know it would be the wrong colour, but would one from a CB900 F or a CB 1100F fit ?Just thinking aloud.
Regards,
Nat.

One fella from Italy is making new ones that look half decent – again expensive but…
Niccolo – i do have smashed one for an RC that you would be more than welcome to try and repair if you have the necessary skills (or know someone that does?) – just for the cost of the postage to you.

I’ve seen the one Steve’s suggesting, but not only it’s expensive, also it’s for a RB series (different design) and I’m trying to restore the bike as standard as possible.
The same for CB900 F or CB 1100F, differnt design… thanks NatAndy, I’ve also seen the aluminium one which looks actually good enough, but still I’d like to stay original.
About your very kind offer : is the cover in magnesium, right?
If so I have to ask to some friend if they’re able to fix it, as far as I know magnesium is quite a difficult material.November 4, 2012 at 11:20 am #11113SteveBMemberfound this one in germany , German stuff tends to be cheaper than Italy, but I dont know which model its off ( B,C,D ) they also have a few other parts
