Great coverage from ITV4 tonight on the 2013 Classic TT. Whose was the R seen in the shots from Jurby.
Well spotted Andy – it was only a quick flash of my fine and original RD…….that I will be selling soon. I was one of the two track Marshals riding around the circuit all day, it was hot and I’m fairly close to making the decision to pass it on to a younger owner.
The Classic TT weekend was an enjoyable time. Something the ITV4 programme couldn’t put over was the smells of Castrol R & two stroke fumes. Men of a certain age!! sniffing the air as the classic bikes go by. Looking forward to next year – should be impressive to see a group of 90ish R’s going around. I have a couple of photos of Dick & his bike, but the website will not permit me to download – or it is idiot me!!
