    Hi Glenn, Many thanks!
I’m hoping to get some parts ordered this weekend to complete the RC rolling chassis & be able to stop!
Then the work begins on getting the engine running which I have to admit because the bike has only covered 21 miles since it’s last MOT on 28th April 1994 I’m first of all not sure what I’ll be faced with when I open the carbs up!
    Cheers
    Tom

Hi, I was a member of this club back in 1996 to around 2001 and owned CB1100RD, I am currently looking at a CB1100RB which is for sale at THE BIKE SPECIALISTS IN SHEFFIIELD, it was up for auction at BONHAMS, but did not sell I was reading in some of the CHATS on Facebook about that particular bike it was imported from spain in 2016 and stored since, it has an after market exhaust and the right hand side casing is of a CB1100F, apart from that it looks OK, anybody throw any light or any other information

Hi Adrian, I had a look at that bike at Stafford. It looks OK visually although it hast lost the exhaust, original indicators, and now has a 900F generator & cover (the R is different I eternally and externally).

I also noticed that the entire bodywork & tank have been repainted at some point.

At the auction £6,500 price it would be a cheap bike. However, why a bike showing such low mileage would require that amount of work & none standard parts struck me as odd…?
