It’s amazing what you see (or not) when you go to put something on the bike that you think is all ready to go!
Can anyone confirm for me that there is supposed to be a locking clip / pin in the LH switchblock to prevent rotation as there is in the RH throttle / switchblock?
It certainly looks like there should be, there is also the location hole in the handlebar for the pin.
    Thanks.

There is a small location pin on the aluminium piece in the lower half of the switch. It should locate in the bottom of the bar. However I don’t think it would be an issue to use the switch with this missing.

Thanks Trev. I don’t have a problem with it not being there, the thing will work ok obviously. I just don’t recall seeing one when it came apart, didn’t put 2+2 together when I worked on the RH switchblock and now just realised I have another piece missing on this jigsaw. Reckon I can make something up ok, if not, too bad. Thanks again.
