That nice RB has just sold for £7010.55. Ever in this recession our bikes are holding there value.

Hi all, the rb that just sold on ebay is back on now being sold by a dealer with a price tag off nearly £11,000!! not bad when you think i sold this bike only 6 months ago for £4750 ish. !!! Some of these dealers really are taking the p***.

Looking at this bike I notice the frame plate is missing and it has an RC generator cover. Has it been refurbished at some time?

Trev. hi not by me i gave it a check over and if you remember rode it over to the agm[not] near banbury. The bike had the engine rebuilt by the previous owner who was in the club and came from lincs.

Hi Daniel

I believe this is the bike that was at Stafford in 2010 on the MRC stand. If so it has had a lot of money spent on the restoration. As can be seen here:

The quality of work is excellent however the Blue over the seat tail and the White inside to the fairing are not standard.

Looks like a very thorough job, but when you know how the paint should look it is a shame it hasn’t been sprayed correctly!

While this bike clearly has a very good restoration it seems bizarre why when selling the bike you would use a picture with the Headlight surround missing.

is it possible to be both original and fully restored ?surely if its been fully restored then it isnt original

Maybe he means that it is restored to original! Oh but that’s not the case is it?

It also states 1 of 9 on DVLA? We had more than 9 RC’s at Mallory last year.

At a guess it could be when bikes have been imported and not registered correctly, or, new bikes were registered just as CB1100 in error…

Anyway it should do the values of RC’s a favour so I’m not complaining!
