1100RC Right hand switch block

Hi all,

After buying it 20+ years ago after it fell off a trailer and leaving it sitting in the shed until the last few months my old girl is nearly fully restored and back on the road.

I am in desperate need of a right hand switch block though and was wondering if this was a somewhat generic item that may have also been used on other Honda models?

I am about to start the task of ringing around wreckers etc to chase down the part, but if anyone knows if it the same switchblock that was used on other Honda models of the era it may make my search a bit easier.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Herman,the R models have a switch block where the trottle cables are connected different than the other models.The 1100F and 900 models are not the same!in comparison to the R models. Cheers,Wim

Hi Herman

The right hand switch on the 11R is part number 35150-426-600. 426 is the Honda model number for the CB650Z so this switch would have also been used on the CB650Z.
If you check Harper of Cowley http://www.harpersofcowleyltd.co.uk/index.htm they have 2 listed but they do not list a price.

They certainly aren’t cheap…but I guess limited supply means they can charge ridiculous prices.

On another note, just noticed that Wim is from Zwolle…it’s a small world…I was born not far from there and have a sister living in Zwolle!

Way back in 1951 Wim. Ended up getting the part for £65 from harpers of Cowley…bit of a bargain seeing as they are going for 3 times that on eBay!
