Hello, As some of you may know I am trying to make a Parts list of genuine Honda parts off other models that are compatable with our bikes, If anybody has any experience of using alternative parts please put them on here. thanks Steve
I will attempt to do it like this example.Standard part / Alternative part / Notes
Speedo / CB900F speedo / Fits straight on.
rear wheel C/D / VFR750 rear wheel / Fits straight in but narrower rim.
Carburettors / CB900F Carbs Fit straight on / but 2mm smaller dia.
NOTE # These are examples I have guessed at ,please feel free to correct me.

The 1983 VF750FD gold rear Wheel is 18” x 3.0” is the same width and diameter as the RC/D, the disc mounting is different
Some CB900’s and CX650’s use the same gold boomerang front wheel as the RC/D
The CB 900F carbs are 32mm, the R is 33mm..the Euro CB1100F Carbs are 33mm and almost the same, the only difference in the bodys is that the R carbs have changeable Main air jets which sit under the black plastic slide guide, whereas the F carbs have a drilled fixed jet
