Stafford Show & Snetterton 4 hour Classic Endurance weekend 17th/18th October

Apologies for the short notice but I thought I’d already posted this – but don’t see it anywhere now.. ?

For the first time in the club’s history we are planning to support two Classic Bike events on the same weekend : one at Stafford – Classic Bike Show and one at Snetterton – Classic 4 hour Endurance weekend. Stafford will be the usual format with our stand on the balcony whereas Snetterton is attempting to be the UK equivalent of the Spa Bikers Classic meeting with an amalgam of bike club stands, trade stands, track sessions as well as a pukka 4 hour Endurance race with practice, qualifying sessions etc.

Snetterton will be an ideal opportunity to promote these bikes to a potentially new audience – we may also get some track time too, and there are tickets available to any member putting a bike on display. This is a great opportunity to let folk see, hear and smell these great old bikes in action. As it’s outdoors we are also planning to have the new club Gazebo on display and there’s probably an option to camp in it too!

With nearly 100 members we should have plenty of support for both events – overseas members excused.. 😮

We have three bikes confirmed for each event – but we could do with one or two more – Trevor Hughes is coordinating Stafford with Andy Larkin coordinating Snetterton – please contact either of them if you’re able to help/support.

So come on chaps – don’t be shy – these events are always a good social gathering so let’s see some new ‘R’ Souls supporting your club and promoting the bikes.
