Hi All,
Andy L gave me his rear brake caliper recently as he could not get the tight pistons out for his refurbishment. Tonight I’m pleased to say that I have got the little Blighters out.
I have done many old Car ones (carefully) with compressed air. But the lastest honda one’s
had to be done with grease. So block the main feed to the caliper and use the bleed nipple to pump the grease in. Use various thicknesses of wood and jack out the pistons evenly till they pop out. fanstastic use of hydraulics.
Hope this helps somebody thinking of doing this job.
Andy talk to you soon mate Gary W
